Synergy: A Place to Heal provides a unique and effective therapy experience, that combines traditional techniques with a holistic, illuminated methods to promote self-growth, and recovery. The center's workshops provide opportunity for spiritual, emotional, and physical healing by use of experiental groups, individual counseling, education, breath work and movement.

The goal of all of Synergy’s work is to bring the unconscious conscious, deliberately changing negative beliefs to positive accepted wisdom. This is spiritual healing. Our educators are a group of diverse compassionate healers who can assist you in illuminating your individual growth path. Lori Reyes, Director, began her career working in hospital detoxification units, treatment centers, and out-patient clinics. Lori found her clinical niche using creative experiential treatment modalities such as breath work, authentic movement, psychodrama, and reiki. Lori earned her Master’s degree from the University of Buffalo and immediately was asked to construct a program for the mentally ill and chemically addicted patients at Brylin Hospitals in Buffalo, New York. She also developed and implemented the first county program designed for women at Northern Erie Clinical Services in Kenmore, New York.

Elizabeth Ossip holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Florida Atlantic University, where she focused her

studies on children and families, substance abuse/addictions, and geriatric social work.

 

Her experience includes facilitating workshops support groups, and seminars. Elizabeth has her BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and spent many years in the business and design world.  Her interest in social work grew out of a desire to serve others and a fascination with art therapy, breathwork and other alternative therapies. While in graduate school she taught art to middle and high school students and worked as a guidance intern.

 

Elizabeth brings a thorough knowledge of addictions, 12 Step recovery systems, trauma, crisis intervention, relationships, life transitions, and healing and wellness to her coaching and educational practice.
